How to Choose the Right Visual for Your Home
Eight new wood-look visuals give homeowners more ways to create the feeling they want in a room.
Choosing a flooring color isn't just about deciding between light and dark. The color, grain pattern, and amount of variation all influence how a room looks once finished. Some floors create a clean, modern backdrop. Others add warmth, texture, or more visual interest. The right choice depends on your style, your home, and the look you're trying to achieve.
From the beginning, Sequoia was designed to capture the enduring beauty of premium hardwood while overcoming many of the practical limitations of natural wood. Every visual is developed to capture the natural variation, texture, and authenticity that give wood its distinctive character.
The expanded collection builds on that foundation, introducing colors that range from clean and refined to richly textured and character-driven. The result is a broader palette of premium wood-inspired visuals paired with the waterproof performance and everyday durability modern homes demand.
For a Clean, Contemporary Look
Some Sequoia colors feature a more consistent appearance with subtle grain patterns and softer transitions between planks. These visuals create a clean, refined foundation that complements modern interiors, painted cabinetry, and minimalist design without drawing attention away from the rest of the space.
For More Natural Character and Imperfections
Other colors embrace the organic beauty found in hardwood, with more pronounced grain, knots, cracks, and tonal variation. These visuals bring warmth, texture, and depth to a room while celebrating the unique character that makes wood feel authentic.
For Color Variation Between Planks
Natural hardwood is never identical from board to board, and neither is Sequoia. Some colors are designed with greater variation between planks, creating a more dynamic floor with natural movement across the room. This effect is especially noticeable in larger, open spaces where the flooring becomes a defining design element.
For Variations in Color Tones and Depth
Some Sequoia colors feature greater tonal variation within individual planks. Layered color, grain detail, and subtle shading add richness and depth while maintaining a balanced overall appearance. The result is a floor that feels visually interesting without overwhelming the space.
